We are a place where the sacraments of the Church punctuate our lives and enable us to live lives for the sake of our neighbors- in the name of Christ.

Engaging Prayerful Practices

Deepening our spiritual lives is an essential part of our discipleship. We make use of the fullness of the Anglican Tradition to help us do that, through time-tested practices that nourish the soul.

We are a community of disciples following the way of Jesus in Springfield and Delaware County

WORSHIP is the center of our common life.

Rooted in the Church’s historic liturgy, we faithfully proclaim the Scriptures and administer the Sacraments, that all may be nourished by the truth of the “faith once delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3). The Holy Spirit is alive in our midst, ministering to us through Word, Sacrament and Song.

SERVICE is our way of life.

We nurture our heart for service and hospitality— striving to love our neighbors as ourselves in love of the poor that Jesus entrusted to us. Ministry outside out walls is not one program among many, but the natural outflow of our praise.

GOOD NEWS is our message.

We believe that God’s love is real and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a relief and Good News is for everyone— no exceptions.

GROWTH is our goal.

We value curiosity and courage as we grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. We aim to grow deeper in our spiritual lives as we grow in love toward our neighbors.

Who We Are:

Led by the Holy Spirit, the Church of the Redeemer is a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania.
While experiencing a new season of revitalization and growth, we seek God in the process of discovering who we are becoming. Redeemer engages the mind, with transformed hearts to reach out to our community in humble service.

Vision:

We seek to be a refuge where all people can worship, grow, connect, and serve in the name of Jesus Christ.
